Students & opportunities
If you are curious about fracture, adhesion, composites or architected materials, there are several ways to work with me in the LITE group at Aarhus University.
Internships
Research internships for MSc students, including students from abroad. Projects are typically 3–6 months and combine experiments, modelling or both.
MSc and BSc thesis projects
Experimental, numerical and theoretical projects, often in collaboration with industry partners.
PhD positions
Funded positions are advertised on the Aarhus University job portal. Industrial PhD projects with companies are also possible.
Postdocs and visiting researchers
I am happy to discuss fellowship applications and research stays with researchers who share an interest in these topics.
Experimental work takes place in the Laboratory for Mechanics and Physics of Solids (LAMPS) and the AU Makerspace, with facilities for mechanical testing, composites manufacturing and additive manufacturing.
How to get in touch
Send me an email with a short CV, your transcript of records (for students) and a few lines on what interests you.
